Some of these bands are pretty good. Stylistically it's got the whole post-hardcore/emo/screamo thing going on. Which, even as I age, still resonates with me for some reason. Being as an Ocean brings to mind "War All The Time" era Thursday. Famous Last Words has a Killswitch Engage sort of flavor. The Illumination sort of reminds me of modern (ie Come Clarity/Reroute to Remain) In Flames, but with a chorus that sounds remarkably like Coheed and Cambria. It's kind of stunning how much the singer's clean vocals sound like Claudio Sanchez. I might have to look more into these guys. Shreddy Krueger has got a bit of an electronic heavy djent thing going on. The Outrageous! track is really heavy, but it might have some kind of dub step stuff in it that is not my bag and the vocals on the chorus sound like a boy band. I won't get into all the bands because I don't have time at the moment, but if you are looking for some new heavy tunes to check out give this sampler a try.
