Trying to figure out more about Pain Hertz, I had to search on archive.org, and found more things not previously mentioned by my colleague. Something from 2004 I am enjoying quite a bit. Still the raucous feel of the jam stuff, but much more song-like in its songness. Some cool vocal switches into falsetto that I enjoy in the first song.
And then I especially like the text: "These are reasonable-quality takes of Alex's Pain Hertz songs in early 2004, right before the tube amp failed."
Wonder if they'd care if we titled something "Before the Tube Amp Failed"?
