Fred Banbery

When this blog first started it was supposed to be about found things, it's sort of become more about music that we've stumbled across, but every now and then I find something in my travels that I think is cool and warrants a post. A few days ago I came across a book at one of those take a book/leave a book things. It's a book of scary stories complied by Mr. Alfred Hitchcock. The stories themselves are just okay, the real reason I grabbed the book was because of the awesome illustrations of Fred Banbery. He's most famous for his Paddington Bear illustrations, but the art in this book is just plain cool. After a quick google search it seems another blog and everything else too has already uploaded most of the art from the book. Check it out.
